Larry James “Frizz” Frisbee, 72, of Dunlevy, PA, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 23, 2018.
Born November 26, 1945, in Olean, NY, he was the fourth son of the late Leon Raymond Frisbee, Sr. and Mary (Winkler) Frisbee of Eldred, PA. Larry attended Otto-Eldred High School and proudly served in the USMC from 1963-1967, serving in Vietnam in 1965-1966. He worked in heavy highway and bridge construction as a project manager most of his life.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son Michael A. Frisbee (Deborah) in 2015, daughter Michelle L. Frisbee in 2013 and three brothers; Leon, Jr. (Betty), Stanley (Joan) and Ralph Frisbee.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 53 years Karen Trask Frisbee are daughter Laura Frisbee Shaw (Sandy) of Harrisburg, PA; brother Stephen (Cheryl) Frisbee of Henderson, Nevada; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc.; Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA 15419. Burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. Once scheduled, the date can be accessed here.
