Louis Aglio, 92, of Centerville, and formerly of California, PA, died Sunday, February 25, 2018.
He was born Monday, August 3, 1925, in California, PA, a son of the late Rosario and Angela (Tagilarino) Aglio.
He was a member of UAW Local 544.
In addition to his parents Lou was preceded in death by wife Shirley Aglio; 4 brothers, Angelo "Red", Anthony "Jiggs", James "Mac" and Joseph Aglio, one sister, Josephine Calcara and one son, David Aglio.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Bruce Aglio and wife Mary of Kernersville, NC, and Chris Aglio of Middletown, RI. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Gina Stout, Ross Aglio and wife Sarah, Jennifer Aglio and partner Megan Morrissey, Krista Shelton, and Brandon Aglio and wife Kellie and 6 great grandchildren, Darren and Dylan Stout, Samuel and Daniel Aglio, Riley Shelton, Quinn Morrissey-Aglio. Lou leaves behind his long time companion Mary Tretinik with whom he has made his home for several years.
Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Julie Kolacz officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
