Phyllis M. Neil

Phyllis M. Neil, 89, of California, PA, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

She was born Thursday, May 10, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Eugene and Tillie (Sterbenz) Copenhaver.

She was a member of the California Presbyterian Church where she served for many years as an elder and deacon.  She was also a mother advisor of the Rainbow Girls and worked as a Teacher Aide, Bookkeeper and Middle School Secretary from 1970 until retirement in 1993.

Phyllis was preceded in death by parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years William P. ‘Bill’ Neil of California, PA , daughter, Billie Jean Neil of California, PA, son & daughter-in-law, Scott and Jan Neil of Houston , TX, and granddaughter, Tyler also of Houston, TX.

She will be sadly missed by Toby and Cuddles and special friends, Karen, Sandy, Jeannie, Lee and Diane and Barb.

Services are private and at the convenience of her family.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA.
