Heavy equipment operator for Conley’s Construction

Robert A. Atchison Jr., 63, of California, died Saturday, August 25, 2018.

He was born Monday, December 13, 1954, in Washington, a son of the late Robert A. Atchison Sr. and Velma Bowman Atchison.

Frog was a member of California Young Men's Club.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Conley’s Construction for the past 38 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Atchison of California; three children, Denise Teets, Michael Atchison and Billy Atchison; a stepdaughter, Melissa Boston and husband Derek; a brother, Terry Atchison and wife Shelly of Bentleyville; three sisters, Mary Ann Atchison of Washington, Diane Atchison of North Carolina and Velma Kehn and husband William; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, August 30, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, with the Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
