Austin Christopher Kaneshiro

Austin Christopher Kaneshiro, 19, of Coal Center, PA, died Sunday, May 23, 2021.

He was born Saturday, November 10, 2001, in Riverside, California, a son Robert Kaneshiro and Shawna Welkley.

Austin was a graduate of California Area High School and was currently working as a plumber.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald Welkley, Sr., and Robert Louis Dickey; great grandfather, John Joseph Seman; great uncle, Donald Haughey; and great grandmother, Allie Welkley.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, Shawna Welkley (Ralph) and Robert Kaneshiro (Chrystal) and are his six siblings. Jessica Bush (Larry), Alyssa, Kaylee, Kannon, Bronson, and Bobbie Kaneshiro.  Also surviving are his grandmothers, Ida Welkley and Susan Kaneshiro, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins..

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm  and until 11:00 am on Thursday, June 3, 2021 with Rev. Amory Merriman officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
