Harry "Butch" Previsky Obituary

Harry “Butch” Previsky, 73, of Long Branch, Pa, passed peacefully on November 24th in Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born November 2, 1947 in North Charleroi, a son of the late Mike and Evelyn (Lowery) Previsky.

“Butch” was a member of California Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and he was a lifetime member of Stockdale Volunteer Fire Company.  He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and his four -legged friend Buster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Michael Previsky and a niece, Kimberly Morgan.

Left to cherish his memory and to celebrate his life are his wife of 56 years Susan (Campbell) Previsky, daughter Renee Heckler and husband Bill of Rostraver, Son Brian Previsky and wife Suzie of Elco, Sister Bonnie Morgan and husband Terry of Long Branch, sister in law Patricia Rock and his best buddy, Walter Rock of Long Branch, grandchildren Mathew Heckler and wife Taylor of Elizabeth, Kaytlin Heckler of Rostraver and Aaron Previsky of California , several nieces and a nephew as well as members of California Baptist Church.

Friends will be received in the Mariscotti Funeral Home, Inc., 323 Fourth Street, California, PA, Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor,  on Friday, November 27,2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Saturday until 11:00 am when funeral services will be held in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Todd Rutherford officiating.

Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery, Long Branch, PA

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to California Baptist Church in memory of Harry Previsky, 435 2nd Street, California, PA 15419.

In keeping in compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth, 25 visitors may be in the funeral home at one time.  We seek everyone’s cooperation and patience in practicing Covid-19 universal precautions, social distancing, wearing face masks and limiting your visit to 5 minutes or less
